Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using FretRep. By using FretRep, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the application, or using any part of FretRep, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement.

2. Description of Service

FretRep is a desktop guitar practice application providing structured practice tools, BPM tracking, exercise composition, and analytics. FretRep offers a Free plan and a Pro plan.

The Free plan is available at no cost and will remain free forever. We will never convert the Free plan to a paid plan without your explicit consent.

3. Account Registration

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Do not share your account or create multiple accounts

4. License Grant

FretRep grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the application for personal non-commercial guitar practice.

This licence does not permit you to:

  • Distribute, sell, or sublicense the application
  • Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Use the application for commercial purposes without written consent
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices

5. Plans and Payment

Free Plan: Core features with limitations, free forever.

Pro Plan: Full features for a monthly or annual subscription fee as displayed on the Pricing page. Payments are processed by Razorpay. You authorise recurring billing until cancellation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, graphics, and App Library exercises are the exclusive property of FretRep protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your personal practice data remains your own property.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not use FretRep for any unlawful purpose
  • Do not attempt unauthorised access to our systems
  • Do not transmit malware or harmful code
  • Do not scrape or extract data using automated tools
  • Do not impersonate any person or entity

8. Disclaimers

FretRep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service and are not responsible for loss of data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FretRep shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your licence is revoked. You must cease all use and delete all copies of the application.

11. Changes to Terms

We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gujarat, India.
